I've been running with the wolves (Avalon sample)
[ Annoyed. He's been incredibly, incurably annoyed since the moment he was fished out of that lake, and the feeling has only worsened with time. First it was realizing he was stuck here. Then it was being herded with a bunch of strangers towards a place called Camelot. The final straw, though? What really got his blood boiling? Was realizing just how powerless he is in this new world.
Okay, so he's not completely powerless. There's the "magic" this place decided to grace him with, but that's about as useless as he's feeling right now. He no longer has the sharingan, can't use ninjutsu, and has access to limited weaponry. Which leaves him with nothing but his newfound healing magic. And just what the hell is he supposed to do with that, huh?
Sasuke trudges back to his makeshift campsite on the outskirts of the city, drenched. He's been trying to find a loophole to this 'no chakra' thing for days. Ninjutsu had obviously been a bust, so he decided to go back to basics. Tree climbing nearly led to a broken arm, so today he had opted for something less...potentially harmful: water walking.
It went about as well as could be expected.
Sopping wet, tired, and frustrated, Sasuke surveys his meager belongings as he plops down by the remains of a small campfire. A too-big cloak (why the hell do they think it's his?), a few weapons (including a really long chokuto?), and his Konoha headband, which had somehow been scratched in transit.
He sighs. ]
Damn it. This is getting me nowhere.
